The South has a lot of Artist out right now receiving heavy rotation and spins on radio, but that does not mean Dirty South Rappers "will continue to run it forever." Each coast has their time to shine.

Uhhh I dont know!!!!! There are so many rap artists from ATL, Houston, and everywhere else down south! I want to see more Midwest rappers and dances cause i’m repping Detroit!!!! Havent you noticed that alot of rappers(Ludacris,T.I.,Soulja Boy, Paul Wall,Yung Joc, Nelly etc. ) or dances(Pool Palace, Motorcycle,Walk it Out etc.) came from the south, especially ATL? The people in the D need our dance!!! LOL But mad luv to the Dirty South!
Uhhh- there are too many rappers to list that are better than 50 cent- Mos Def, Talib Queli, Tribe Called Quest, Tupac, Biggie, Ice Cube, Gift of Gab, Dre, Eminem, Outkast, Jay-Z, Bone, Common…. I could go on, but the point is that you make yourself look ignorant because you picked a mediocre rapper that happens to get a lot of airtime on the radio and at clubs. I won’t trash talk the Dirty South cause I like the sound, but at least come up with a better rapper if you’re going to go there.

Sorry, they’re not. In fact, 90% of them suck. Few actually can rap anymore. The one’s that can are Outkast, UGK, Goodie Mob, Scarface, and Little Brother. That’s pretty much it.
all these ppl alrdy talked about the south…but 50? are u serious? the only ppl i kno listen to 50 are wannabe white kids (no offence to white ppl), he has tight beats, but his rap is overrated..kanye overall is better also
