What software does Breathe Carolina use for their beats?

Me and my freind are starting a band that willuse our guitars and drums but also incorperate some techno/synth beats and of course some auto-tune thrown into the mix.

Is it a version of cakewalk? I am planning on buying cakewalk soon and i want to be able to make beats on there with the stuff that comes stock.

any help is greatly appreciated.

thank you :)

  1. Ah, Breathe Carolina, I like their music a lot too.
This is part of Joshua Andrew’s Q&A Blog:

Q: What kind of software do you use to make your music?

A: I get this one more than anything else. I don’t use software to make my music, usually. Although I do use a DAW, Logic Pro, to record and edit, and occasionally supplemental software like Reason, Amplitube 2, Native Instruments soft synths, dozens and dozens of plug-ins, etc., etc., I usually prefer working with audio as opposed to MIDI and/or software instruments. I have a million noise makers in my little studio. I’m a gear geek and a computer nerd, through and through. I have used all kinds of instruments and audio popadoodleydingdongs in my music, including (but definitely not limited to) the Roland JP-8000, the Minimoog, the MicroKorg, the Nord Lead 2, the Zvex Woolly Mammoth, the E-Bow, every guitar pedal on the PLANET, a Marshall TSL100 and a Fender DeVille, the Antares AVP-1, AKAI samplers, several kinds of drum machines, and of course good ol’ fashioned bass, drums and piano. I have spent every penny I’ve had since I was 11 on music. And I haven’t stopped! I never have money cause I buy too much fancy stuff I don’t need! Haha.

Hope I helped, and good luck making your music. I’ll check your myspace out as well.
